Golf Tuition

Expert tuition is provided by Patrick Hayes a fully qualified EGTF (European Golf Teachers Federation) ADVANCED TEACHING PROFESSIONAL.

Lessons: 1/2 hour £16.50, 1 hour £28.00. Course of 6 x1/2 hour lessons £85.00

Beginners

The emphasis is getting the beginner off on the right track. It is so essential to start correctly with the right grip, address position, swing and weight transfer motions. These ingredients are all explained and demonstrated in simple ways and by the end of the first lesson nearly all are hitting balls down the middle.

Depending on the progress of the pupil, a course of six lessons will try and cover as many of the different shots you encounter in a round of golf as possible. This will include the general swing, chipping/pitching, bunker play, putting and driving.

Intermediates/mid/high handicappers

Often people leave the game for a while and come back, or are stuck and not making progress despite their best endeavors.  A refresher course of lessons will soon get them improving their scores. For whatever reason it is difficult sometimes to know why certain things keep happening that often ruin a round. Patrick is expert at pinning down these ‘shockers’ explaining why they happen and can demonstrate and explain how to put them right.

Many of Patrick’s pupils have seen their handicaps come down sharply and several are already medal and society winners.

Advanced/Low handicappers

For the low handicapper a  second set of eyes can simply rectify silly things that creep unnoticed into your game. For the more difficult to spot problems, Quintic video capture and golf swing analysis software can be used to analyse what’s happening and why.
